Here are some basic need-to-knows for the February 22nd by-election.
1. We will be keeping online voting this election. Register up to THREE DAYS BEFORE the election. A board member will call you to confirm your identity before the election opens at MIDNIGHT on FEB 22. Online voting closes at 6pm. You can either vote online OR in person, not both.

2. All candidates must submit their intentions THREE DAYS BEFORE the election. We strongly encourage all candidates to post their platform on the forum page and to be active answering questions from the constituency, especially in the days leading up to the election.
3. Given the overly long in person voting session during the election, we are reducing in person voting from 4-6pm on February 22, at our head office at Common Ground, 30 Harvey Rd. If you are unable to vote online and these hours do not work for you, please send an email to INFO@STJOHNSPRIDE.CA and we can make other accommodations. This coincides with our Mocktail hour from 4-5pm, so we will have speeches from the candidates at 5pm. Voting will close at 6pm, at the same time as online voting.
4. This by-election will be for ONE Director-at-Large position. Candidates can nominate themselves here:
